This show of small paintings and drawings on paper commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Uruguayan born modernist's death. Torres García's gridded, pictographic works, by which he articulated a comprehensive cosmic philosophy with an unassuming, comic touch, are especially engaging (Johnson).
