Gurvich began to incorporate a spiral within the grid, in time it took
the form of a swirling pinwheel, a galaxy of images growing in size from a point in the
canvas established by the Golden Measure... Close examination of the painting
reveals that within each sphere he painted a "miniature Gurvich", a still life, a
landscape, figures. |
